The flight into the Himalayas offers breathtaking views of the major peaks Mt. Dorje Lakpa (6,966 m), Mt. Ganesh (7,422 m), Mt. Purbi Chhyachu (6,637 m), Mt. Langtang (7,227 m), etc. (weather permitting), taking you directly into the Himalayan capital of Kathmandu. After immigration formality on arrival, as you exit the airport terminal you will be greeted and welcome by a Sampurna Adventure personal & transferred to your hotel, Spend the rest of the day at leisure for personal activities following your program briefing or you may familiarize with the narrow lively, and endless streets around Thamel town (Touristic center), where you will find all kinds of good restaurants, ATMs and exchange money, full of typical Nepali handicrafts, fine jewelry, clothing, and trekking gear stores.
Your journey will start through the countryside drive up to Bhulbhule 830 M. the trail goes through green hills, rivers, villages with winding roads by the Trisuli River, from Mugling, and you will follow along the road toward Pokhara, from Dumre the road follows to north towards Besisahar, after lunch 2 hrs.
Continue our journey to Jagat, we enter to the Manang region passing through the village of Gurung, Bahun and Tamang ethnic group in Jagat.
In route we will have views of rice field, corn, barley and potatoes, also offers nice view of rhododendron, bamboo forest, waterfalls and Marshyangdi River, which offers the most sensational views of Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, and Annapurna IV (7,525M).
After breakfast, we take a local jeep up to Chame, following the Marshyangdi river, entering the vicinity of the Manang region. On the way, we can see several waterfalls forming a river by the sandy beaches, along with the barley, rice, and potato fields towards Dharapani. Further ahead, leaving Dharapani, we will pass through the forests with pine, fir, oak, and maple trees along the Marshyangdi River to reach Chame, the district headquarters of Manang district. The picturesque Chame village is surrounded by the green forests around, and above all, we have remarkable views of Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II, and Annapurna IV (7,525m).
Rest of the day we will spend exploring around this enchanting village.
The trail follows by a steep and narrow path through a very dense forest takes you to the dramatic curved rock face; you will cross the river over on suspension bridges. The U shaped Manang valley is hanging between two giant snow peaks, by midday through these wonderful sites you will arrive at Upper Pisang, it offers excellent views of Mt. Manaslu, Lamjung & Annapurna, after disjuncture of two route, you will follow the upper route via Geru,
Today you will have outstanding sceneries, feel like horizontally in front of the majestic peaks. The panoramic views of the mountain such as Pisang peak, Annapurna gives you unforgettable views, from today you will find the contrast with the landscape and vegetation, with the cold and dry climate. On the way you can visit the largest monastery of Manang, “Barge monastery”, Manang, itself as similar as Tibetan tribe with many Chorten and Mani walls,
Explore around the village, today you will have short walk exploring surrounding nearby village to get acclimatized with the altitude. Should be prepare for next day’s demanding and challenging trek with rapid gain in altitude. We could explore Bhojo Gompa / village monastery, Gangapurna Lake for acclimatization and the Himalayan Rescue Association.
From Manang we continue trek towards Tenki village and climb up to the Marshyangdi Valley passing Jarsang Khola. We will cross a few pastures land with a scrub of juniper trees passing through meadows where horses and yaks graze but there are quite often spotted of 'blue sheep' nearby. On the trail we pass an ancient old Mani wall in a pleasant meadow and cross a suspension bridge and reach Ledar village, in the afternoon we could have time for an excursion from camp in search of local wildlife.
Today we have another short an uphill trail to Thorong Fedi / Thorong High Camp, our trail ascends further passing through towering cliffs before reaching Thorong Fedi, the last village before Thorong La pass. From here we have the best views of Thorong Peak and other peaks, as it is a base camp which will help us better acclimatization to cross Thorong la pass next day.

Today you will reach on top of our Annapurna circuit trek; we will start our trail early morning to cross the Thorong-La due to high wind, every moment at the icy high-altitude trail is difficult and demanding. It would be an unforgettable experience crossing the famous high pass, Thorong La (5416 m). Here we stop for an outstanding high Himalayan range in 360* amphitheater views of all ranges of Mt. Annapurna region. Later we trek downhill towards Muktinath 3,762 m (12,343 ft) by the afternoon. Muktinath is an important pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Buddhist.
In the morning explore around the sacred Muktinath temple “salvation” and Monastery, later commence trek downhill steep and barren hillside toward Kagbeni and then to Jomsom through desert mountain trails along a plateau above Kali Gandaki, the world`s deepest gorge. It is barren landscape of this area resembles Tibet.
Today we will continue our journey through the new route to Kalopani through Chokhopani village. En route we will have panoramic views of the Dhaulagiri, Tukuche, Nilgiri, and Annapurna I. From Chokhopani we will continue to Kokhethanti. We will cross the river and continue along the road to Kalopani.
After breakfast, we will drive back to Tatopani through famous village of Kalopani, Ghasa, the graveled bumpy road by local bus arrive to Tatopani. The trail is mostly downhill to lower elevations, crossing subtropical forests, river, famous waterfall “Rupse Chahara”. Arrive in Tatopani, one can relax and have a bath in the hot spring.
From Tatopani, you can observe the midland people’s lifestyle in these villages, at Ghara and Sikha villages will find terraced and inclined farmlands, then start ascent to Ghorepani. In route traversing through the Phalate and Chitre no-habitation area, will encounter forest of rhododendron, birch, magnolia and some meadows on the way.
Early morning ascent to Poon Hill (3,210m), from a top of Poonhill one can see beautiful sunrise over western Himalaya, trek downhill to Ghorepani, after breakfast continue trail all the way down through the Rhododendron forest to “Ghandruk” (The second-largest Gurung settlement in Nepal). After lunch, continue trek to Nayapool to complete the trail and transfer back to Pokhara, a peaceful lakeside city harboring a unique setting of tropical climate and vegetation with the dramatic backdrop of the Himalayas.
Breakfast, transfer to Pokhara airport to catch a 25 minutes flight to Kathmandu, viewing the great Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri and Langtang (weather permitting), arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel,
Later, we visit transfer to Pokhara airport and we take an exciting half hour flight to Kathmandu, viewing the Annapurna ranges Swoyambhunath Stupa with its 2,500-year history. Later visit to Kathmandu Durbar Square, Hanuman Dhoka, the ancient royal residence, Kasthamandap, Mahadev & Parvati Temple, Kumari palace sacred for Buddhists and Hindus and old bazaars.
In the afternoon, visit Patan Durbar Square, the old Newar City with the Golden Gate, the Temple of Taleju, Golden Temple and surrounding beautiful monument,
In the evening, a Nepali farewell dinner, we rejoice and express our gratitude to our Sherpa team who accompanied us to make our great trip successful!!
Breakfast, In the morning free for personal activities, we can explore the narrow lively and endless streets of Thamel town where we will find all kinds of good restaurants, full of typical Nepali handicraft, fine jewelry, clothing and trekking gear store, later at the arranged time, transfer to the airport for final departure.
