A trip highly recommended for those who enjoy the overland adventure from Kathmandu to Lhasa. The main attractions of this tour are Lhasa and Kathmandu. Upon your arrival you will visit the most important places of Kathmandu valley; during your tour in kathmandu we will issue all the permissions and the Chinese visa. Soon your trip to tibet begins by the coach to Zhangmu, the Nepal tibet boarder and visiting the more important towns and cities of Tibet. One can enjoy a great opportunity to know true Tibet with this adventure. Your Lhasa city tour will begin with visiting Potala palace of the Dalai Lama, the Jhokhang, Sera and Drepung monasteries and more important city like Xigatse and Gyantse. At the end to conclude the trip fly back to Kathmandu or towards central China or an extension to Pokhara and Chitwon to complete the trip of Nepal.

 Full day tour of Swoyambhunath, Kathmandu & Patan Durbar Square, overnight at hotel.

Fullday city sightseeing tour

 Full day tour of Boudhanath, Pashupatinath & Bhaktapur Durbar Square, overnight at hotel.

Free day in Kathmandu

 Free day for personal activities, overnight at hotel.

Drive:Kathmandu to Zhangmu

 Early morning scenic drive - Kathmandu - Zhangmu (2,500Mt) / Nyalam (3750Mt): 156 KM: Overnight at hotel.

Drive to Tingri

 Drive to Tingri (4300Mt.) / Lhatse (4,350Mt.): drive through Lalung La (5,050 Mt.), with views of MT. Cho Oyu (8201 Mt), MT. Xisha Pangma (8012Mt) & MT. Everest (8,848 Mt). Overnight at hotel.

Drive to Xigatse

 Drive to Xigatse (3,900Mt): crossing Gyatchu La (5,220Mt), the highest pass en route to Lhasa, Overnight at hotel.

Drive to Gyantse

 Drive to Gyantse (3,950Mt): visit Tashilunpo. In Gyantse, visit Khumbun Stupa & Palkhor Monastery. Overnight at hotel.

Drive to Lhasa

 Drive to Lhasa (3,650Mt): crossing over Kharo La (5,010Mt), Khamba La (4,794Mt), and Brahma Putra (Yarlung Tsangpo). Overnight at hotel.

Sightseeing in Lhasa

 In Lhasa Visit Potala Palace & Sera Monastery overnight at hotel.
